Maintenance & Avionics Technicians

1 Avionics Tech. - Avionics experience and high school equivalent required. A&P License & Associates degree preferred. General Aviation/ Part 121/135 experience required.

Flight Follower

High School Diploma and prior aviation experience required.  Must be able to work independently.  Successful candidates will be trained to brief and debrief pilots conducting Part 135 flight operations throughout the Northeast, as well as, maintaining the coordination of services provided to all airlines operating into and out of the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

Customer Service Representative

High School Diploma, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently required.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, while providing excellent service to Flight Crews and their passengers.  Flexible hours are available.  Some data entry is required. Valid driver's license required. Part-time position for nights and weekends.

Line Service Technician

High School Diploma with prior aviation experience preferred. Successful candidates are trained in multiple tasks such as aircraft refueling, towing and providing customer assistance. Involves outdoor and physical work. Conscientious, reliable, solid math skills. Must work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license required. Part -Time position.


Company Benefits

  • INSURANCE
    Group medical, prescription, vision and dental insurance is available to all regular full-time employees, their spouses and children up to age 19 (or 23 if in school). The Company pays approximately 80% of cost. Life insurance, in an amount equal to base wage, is provided to all full-time employees at no cost to the employee. Employees become eligible for insurance benefits approximately 30 days from date of full-time employment. Short Term Disability insurance is provided to all full-time employees at no cost to the employee after nine months of full-time employment.

  • SICK TIME
    Regular full time employees are paid for time lost due to sickness up to 48 hours per calendar year. Sick leave is accrued at the rate of 4 hours per month of service over the calendar year. Unused time may be carried to the next calendar year not to exceed a maximum of 64 hours.

  • VACATION TIME
    In year one of employment, regular full time employees accrue vacation at the rate of 4 hours per month of employment, not to exceed a total of 40 hours. The vacation must be taken during the succeeding calendar year. During the second through ninth calendar years of employment, employees accrue 80 hours of vacation per calendar year. During the tenth through seventeenth calendar years, employees accrue 120 hours of vacation. In the eighteenth calendar year of employment and beyond, employees accrue 160 hours of vacation. Unused vacation time does not carry to the next calendar year.

  • HOLIDAY TIME
    Generally, employees receive nine paid holidays per year. A holiday schedule is issued annually.

  • OVERTIME
    Hourly employees are paid 1
    ½ times the regular rate for work performed in excess of forty hours.

  • EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN (ESOP)
    Wiggins Airways is an employee owned company. When available, stock is distributed to eligible employees. Employees are eligible to participate after completing 1,000 hours in 12 months of service. The ESOP has entry dates of January 1 and July 1 in each Plan Year. The Plan Year is January 1 to December 31. Contributions are made entirely by the Company. Distribution is made equally to all participants based on their salary as a percentage of total salary of all eligible employees.

  • 401(K)
    All employees may participate in the Fidelity 401(K) Plan after 3 months of employment. Contributions are made entirely by the employee.
